Normally people when sitting in front of computer eat lots of fast food and wafers. According a survey conducted by a popular news channel 45% of employees gains weight after joining their first job.
Fedrick Thomson, an employee working with a corporate firm told “we don’t have time to think over our diets which we have to eat during office hours because of the work load we just eat what is being served in front of us when we are hungry. Indianapolis corporate account manager for Weight Watchers. "By taking just a few minutes, you can begin your new path of achieving a healthier lifestyle by becoming more aware of what behavior you need to change and planning meals and activity while you are at work each day," said Alley kendy.
Here are some steps she recommends taking during the workday:
--> Make a habit of bringing lunch cooked in your house because it’s safe and clean. You may also bring some salad and fruits which helps in retaining your fitness.
--> Stop eating wafers and fast food just save money and at end of the month buy some new cloths for yourself or for your lovely wife.
--> Ask your company to reimburse you for wellness initiatives, such as joining a gym or weight-loss program. Many employers allow Weight Watchers to offer meetings at work.
--> On Monday, bring in five days of low-calorie frozen dinners or canned soups, leaving the guesswork out of portion sizes.
--> Include exercise breaks in your calendar, even if it's just 10 minutes at a time. Walk around outside or inside of your building, make copies at the farthest printer, and don't set foot in an elevator.
